GRADUMACATED!

About to get on the red eye to New York City in 4 hours with Janelle, thanks to Anna's amazing MTV internship in Times Square!

This past week was a blur. I guess life is always a blur. I'm not sure how I feel about graduating, it hasn't completely hit me yet. And maybe cuz I still have to come back to finish summer classes, so I'm not absolutely "done". Also, kinda a bummer that I only got to spend a day with my mom and sister. We watched Up in 3D, tho, and I'm pretty sure my mom wants to adopt Russel :)
Anyway I already miss my classes, mostly my awesome English professors whom I talk about for hours with my roommate. My roommate will be taking science classes this summer, so who will I have stalker-ish conversations with?!? I complain non-stop about school during finals and papers, but deep down, I am a huge nerd who genuinely enjoys school and learning, and I really am disappointed that I only have a summer left of it. I'm one of the fortunate ones who were lucky enough to experience the enriching academic and social aspects of a University for 4 years, and I'm glad I never took it for granted. Well, enough about school. It's not over yet. This summer is gonna be great :0)

New York is split up into little districts like Paris (at least that's how I see it)... I'm so excited for the MUSEUMS and FOOD. I'm also excited about mastering the subway system, not that it's too hard... I have an affinity for crowded, chaotic places that have an organized underpinning. I found some amazing comedy clubs and great music scenes :) Yelp is awesome. I love how everything is open until 4 am. I won't be doing too much shopping as much as window shopping ,which is just as fun (or so I tell myself).

JUST GREAT. But a little summer rain never stopped nobody :) I'll just wear my NC boots, put on a cute hat, work with layers, open up an umbrella, and VOILA! problem solved.

It's so hard to pack with just 1 suitcase, espcially cuz my sleeping bag, pillow, and towel already takes up about 3/4 of the room. Guess I'll be wearing the same clothes a lot...

Can't wait to experience the arts and culture capital of the US!

just one of those soon-to-be-extinct typical college nights that I will dearly miss

writing this as I am semi buzzed but it's wearing off so like Lady Gaga says, it'll be ok!

Came back from undie run! LAST ONE EVER.

It is so, so, SO sad. I really am gonna miss this tradition. And this was seriously the best one yet. Spring qtr is always good, but this one was BOMB DIGGITY. There were so many runners!!! People started running at 11:50 which is completely lame and against undie-run rules. But it was amazing nonetheless!!! Having the huge IM field was actually a perk! I lost my keys and phone but I have faith my phone will find its way back to me.

I have one last final on friday, but that one is easy peasy. I technically finished with all my hard ones today!!! :D best feeling ever... I have been running on an average of 2-3 hours of sleep a night for the past 5-6 nights. My body doesn't even know how to sleep for more than 6 hours anymore. Actually, it doesn't even know how to feel tired anymore. When I lay in bed, I can't for the life of me get my brain to shut off. I wonder if sleep is just an acquired thing... I mean, do we really need sleep? I haven't really slept and I feel just as capable and collected as I usually do. Even moreso, perhaps!

After my final today I went to look for shoes to go with my graduation dress because I have literally 1 pair of heels that I wear for every occasion. But instead of getting sophisticated, classy heels to go with my white dress, I kinda splurged on AMAZING clubbing heels. Which I do not regret doing at all. Just need to learn to be 5'12''.

AND I got grades back for one of my courses already and guess what I got?!? Yea, you know it!

Anyway, it's so nice to unwind with music. Music solves everything. I firmly believe that if we all, every antagonistic person in the world, just sat down and basked in music, we would all find universal peace and get along forever and ever. That should be a public policy or something. I'll take it to Obama. Anyway, music time now. See you all after graduation in NYC BABY!!!

OMGawsh commencement is Friday... is this all really happening? It's ending just like that?!?

James Franco is a deuche

amongst other things, I kind of feel like...

I ate too much spaghetti

What's the point of studying for this management final? I'm just gonna get the same grade anyway...

I wanted to stay at UCLA longer, but now I'm glad I'm not, and I just want to get out. It feels like a prison. A PRISON, I SAY!

I can't wait to start the rest of my life.

Too bad conan can't bring the cone zone to commencement. He would be perfect, like always.

My ass hurts. I've been sitting all day and have only done 1.5 chapters of cost accounting. shoot me.

I hate school. It makes me not care. Why should I care? Exactly. I don't care.

GAWD.

First thing I'm gonna do when I finish finals is to go to Drake and run 3 miles.

A non-english major who peer-reviewed my Jane Austen paper wrote that I should use the OED. Who gives a shit about what non-majors think. Their opinions are worthless. Maybe they should look up the definition of being a fuckingdumbass. Their face would be there.

My Victorian Lit professor thinks I'm wonderful, on the other hand, and volunteered to write me a letter of rec. Yaye! I didn't even have to ask. He just sensed it. Cuz he's brill. Just goes to show that you don't need to know the real definition of words to write a good paper. Can you deal with that!

Need to save up money for NYC.

Watched Clueless in class because my pregnant-on-the-verge-of-popping teacher didn't feel like teaching anything that requires neurons. THAT final's gonna be a breeze...

Wasted 8 hours procrastinating and 3 hours doing real work.

I'm so over this.

As if.
